Risa Towbin Aqua is a watercolorist and calligrapher who specializes in commemorative art. Her work is commissioned by individuals and organizations looking for a meaningful, creative way to honor a special person or event. Risa says, "It's somewhere between fine art and graphic design. I enjoy listening to people's stories and ideas, and then translating them into something beautiful that can bring them joy every day."

When not making art, Risa teaches Hebrew and prepares students for Bar/Bat Mitzvah.
