A native Californian, Genevieve (Jennie) was an artist from the time she was old enough to pick up a pencil in her hometown of Monterey. After graduating with a BA in Studio Art from UC Santa Barbara, she moved to the San Francisco Bay Area and began working as a decorative painter. In 2000 started her own successful decorative painting company Magpie Decorative Painting.
In 2010 she moved with her family to Denver Colorado where she does free lance decorative painting and also paints in her home studio.
