Artsy Dad (a.k.a. Scott Gibala-Broxholm) is a children's illustrator and author. His specialty is "Monstously" funny books for children ages 3 to 8. He was a Stay-at-Home Dad to his son and daughter since they were three months old. Over the years, he has illustrated for a number of children's magazines. For six years, he was the Hidden Picture artist for the children's newspaper "The Pennywhistle Press". His caricature business, "Crazy Face Caricatures", can be found on He is a BIG fan of classic films (especially the black and white fright films of the 20's through the 50's). Scott uses a combination of pencil, colored pencil, and watercolor to create the images for his cards. Although not all of them are for children, they do all possess a childlike whimsy to them.
