Join us on March 22nd in Denver
As part of Water4Food 2012, iDE and Card Gnome are reaching out to you, your family, friends and colleagues in Denver to help spread the word and generate awareness about water and food security, the theme of this year’s United Nation’s World Water Day. The focus of the day will be to inform people and local businesses in Denver, Colorado about this timely issue and how they can help.
All volunteers will receive a free Water4Food 2012 t-shirt and an invitation to the official United Nations World Water Day fundraiser party on March 22nd. The fundraiser party will feature music, food and drinks, a silent auction of indigenous art, and emceed by Andrew Romanoff, former Speaker of the House of Colorado.
The first 200 people to purchase a Water4Food greeting card plan will receive an invitation to the official United Nations World Water Day event in Denver, the Water4Food 2012 fundraiser party on March 22nd.
What is water4food?
Water4Food 2012 draws Denver into a critical issue now being faced in the Sahel region of West Africa: food security. Card Gnome has teamed up with iDE, an international organization that specializes in bringing clean water to rural households in the developing world.
50% of your purchased Water4Food greeting card plan will be sent to iDE to provide a family in the Sahel region of West Africa with the tools and knowledge needed to create and sustain a local business, enabling them to increase their income and lift themselves out of poverty.
